PROMOTION CEREMONY PRACTICE: On Tuesday, June 11 (the final day of school) all 8th grade students who will be part of the promotion ceremony are required to attend promotion practice. This practice begins immediately after school (at 11:30 am) and should conclude no later than 12:45 pm.

ATTIRE for PROMOTION CEREMONY:  Breaking from tradition, students will no longer wear caps and gowns for this ceremony. You will soon receive an email in which you will find the dress code expectations for this event.

PROMOTION CEREMONY: Eighth grade promotion takes place on Friday, June 14, in the main sanctuary. Students are asked to report to the area behind the fellowship hall at 3:00 pm for the class panoramic photo. The ceremony begins promptly at 4:00 pm. Doors to the sanctuary will open approximately thirty minutes prior to the ceremony. Seating is done on a first-come-first-served basis.

CLASS PANORAMIC PHOTO and PROMOTION CEREMONY DVD: Order forms for both items will be sent home with your 8th grader in a few weeks. Please be watching for them.

PROMOTION BOUQUETS and LEIS: An order form from Everblooming Floral and Gift will also be sent home soon. This company will be selling a wide variety of flower bouquets for our promotion, and part of the proceeds will go to our school; pre-ordering is recommended, but some items will be available for purchase at the ceremony.
